Location Data (GPS): We request access to your device's location strictly to validate your physical presence at the gym during check-in.
Device & Security Data: Cryptographic keys generated by WebAuthn for secure logins.
Fitness & Activity Data: Your workout logs, check-in history, assigned diet plans, and workout charts to track your progress and provide gamified achievements.

2. Zero Data Collection Policy

We believe your digital privacy is as important as your physical health. Retag Fitness operates on a strict Zero Data Collection model regarding unauthorized data harvesting:

No Background Tracking: Location services are only accessed at the exact moment you tap the check-in button to verify your presence at the gym. We do not track, log, or monitor your background location at any other time.
No Biometric Harvesting: Your fingerprint or Face ID data remains 100% on your local device. We only receive a cryptographic token to verify your identity; your actual biometric markers are never uploaded to or stored on our servers.
No Selling Data: We do not monetize, trade, or sell any of your personal fitness metrics, check-in history, or contact information to third-party advertisers or data brokers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data strictly to operate and improve your experience on the platform:

To verify your attendance using GPS coordinates against your registered facility's location.
To deliver personalized workout and diet plans assigned by your trainer.
To secure your account and prevent unauthorized access.
To generate visual progress reports, activity heatmaps, and attendance logs.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Your information is only shared in the following scenarios:

With Your Gym Administrator: Your check-in history and activity logs are visible to your affiliated gym management for tracking and training purposes.
Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or governmental authority.

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encrypted connections and secure database architecture, to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
